Veronica is married with two children and is a native Californian. Veronica graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She enjoys teaching all subjects but has a love for science and history. She has been an aide in classrooms, has worked and tutored high school students in science, and worked with elementary age children. Her husband is retired Navy, her daughter will be a college freshman Fall 2022, and her son will be a 6th grader. She has been homeschooling her son for six years. She started her homeschool journey because her son has severe food allergies but quickly discovered that she and her son both really enjoyed it. Karin Leonard is a homeschooling mom and a classically trained pianist. For over 30 years, she has taught beginner to advanced level music to people from ages 5 to 95.
